Membership is available to any person involved in the financial planning process, whether or not they are a Certified Financial Planner™. The FPA has bankers, accountants, and members of other allied professions among its members.
Membership is also available to students enrolled in a financial planning program. Further details on the reduced membership rate can be obtained by contacting the membership chair, Ted Chibnall, CFP® at 314/845-8222 or by e-mail at tchib@swbell.net.
Dues are $295 (and $145 for students). Dues include membership in the national Financial Planning Association and the local chapter.
For information on the benefits of being a member nationally, check out the web site at http://www.fpanet.org. Locally, membership provides the individual with a monthly newsletter and the opportunity to earn in excess of 15 CE credits per calendar year.
